Load Testing

 A load test is carried out by lifting the items safe working load for example if the items Safe working load is a Ton we are required to load test a Ton.

A proof load test is carried out by lifting 1.1 - 1.5 times the safe working load of the item.

The purpose for a Proof and Load test is to ensure that lifting equipment can lift its Safe working with out failing
